Microsoft has postponed the Surface Neo indefinitely, raising questions about the development of Windows 10X.

Microsoft Windows 10X was designed to work on dual-screen devices. Now Microsoft has confirmed that this version of the operating system is still being worked on and Microsoft’s Surface Neo device could be delayed until the end of 2021.

A short blog post from Microsoft states that Windows 10X will also be available for dual-screen and touch screen devices.

Microsoft has also announced an update to Windows 10, May 2020, which will improve the user experience in touch screen devices.

It has also been improved for tablet mode on the desktop. Connecting with Bluetooth has also been simplified. The eye control feature also includes a drag and drop function.

Windows 10 vs Windows 10X: What’s the difference?


Windows 10X is a streamlined version of Windows 10 and there’s not much differances between Windows 10 and Windows 10X. Only the Windows 10X interface is a bit change from Windows 10.

This streamlined operating system is designed to compatible with dual-screen or foldable devices. The icon placement and overall design differ significantly.
